Pavlova with vanilla cream topped with kiwi/strawberry/peach

I havent bake pavlova in such a long time and I almost lost the soft-skill in making this delicious, mouth watering dessert. I have always loved this when it's chilled..and with the complimentary of the fruits..i often lie to my self to feel less guilty, that i am indulging into a fruit salad only..kekeke..i'd happily savor till the last bits.

While stacking the fruits and dolloping the cream..i felt like cutting them and have them for my self..grr..will be making this precious for my self soon!!

Well one of my early bird delivery was below moist chocolate cake for Saidatul..My hubby sent the cake at 7am at Petronas BJ and by 10am Saidatul request for more chocolate cake as the earlier cake was instantly gone.. And sorry for not be able to whisk you another cake.

A manic Friday night....

It was a manic Friday night. As all the followings were to be delivered before noon today. I dont have any grunt but way too fun decorating a cake to another cake..all were perfectly done (to me lah..hehehe) by Subuh..and by the time my boys woke up for their karate class..the kitchen was almost spotless and all cakes were arrange in the fridge.

Here's one of my favorite cake to decorate, a number one cake..moist chocolate cake layered and coated with cream cheese..TQ Dira..and happy birthday Nureen Qaireen ..[ such a love name!!! wish i have a  girl :)) ]

Dira requested below design..and I simply adhere to her request.. all topping were cream cheese, I had to use 1.5kg of cream for this cake alone!!

A total of 75 pieces of chocolate fudge brownies ordered by Yatie for her nephew's Aqiqah door gift.. TQ babe..

And actually, early of the week I posted 2 boxes of macarons to Effa in Perak..i havent hear from her yet..hope everything was ok..

Luxemburgerli the Swiss Macaron

No bakes today..but I'd like to share with all my recent experience of a Swiss Macaron. Since I've been seriously involve in baking..it's always a pleasure to taste other's delicacies..

Literally..I've known that there are 3 types of macaron around..these macarons differed by the method used to bake the shells. It was also known that the French and Italian macarons almost the same in taste and texture. However, contrary to the Swiss Macarons which is also called as the Luxemburgerli..

I was over the moon as hubby brought home 2 boxes of these babies back..

By my personal experience..I came to like these Swiss macs..they are less sweet..the shells are with a dome shape..soft/fluffy in the inside with crunchy on the outer shells. The filling was to DIE for!!!!! It's creamy..light..less sweet..& rich in flavor!! Owhhhhh my sugar level sure have increase tremendously!! Bad thing only you cant leave them for too long within our climate..the cream filling tends to soften. And not to forget that their size are petite..slightly smaller to our 20 cent coin.

I personally lovessss Sprungli's better compared to Bachmann's ..reason being ..Sprungli simply yield stronger flavor..a bite will blow you far to Swiss ..hehehe..

I tried browsing for the recipe of the shell over the net with zero result!! Could it be a real top secret?
I'll try again and share if I managed to get them :)

Rainbow Cake in Princesses Theme

It was a terribly longgg.. week for me as my other half was away for work. Though mingling with kids+house+cake kept me all occupied, yet still there's a missing void somewhere..he'll be back tonite yeaaa...

Niza ordered 300 pcs of oreo brownies for her brother's wedding reception..but I had to push away the order to my sis (who is a baker too) since I cant cope it as hubby was not around to watch the kids..  My baby simply cant let go of me!! I had to carry him with 1 hand while cooking or else..he'll throw a LOUD tantrum!! My sis baked them all and I just cut these delicious bars in pieces and drizzled away with chocolate as well as gold sprinkles on top. TQ Niza..and sorry for any imperfections yer..

On the same day..I managed to whisk away this congo bars for Aida as I had postponed her order last week due to my sickness.. TQ Aida!!

And TQ my SIL, Eda for sleeping over that night.!!

And..Last night I baked rainbow cake for Kak Azah which was ordered month back. My sis and SIL came to stay over to watch over the kiddos.. TQ girls !!

I made 5 layers in pink hues cake, layered and coated with delicious cream cheese..

Here it goes..the final output of the cake..with 3 pretty princesses ; snow white, belle, cinderella.. ..my childhood favorite princesses. owh how I wish I owned these figurines..they are so pretty and adorable.. Hmmm...my birthday celebrations when I was young was eating out in KFC or Marry Brown..how lucky kids now days. Parents are instilling sweet memories in birthday cakes for their loved ones..

While waiting for the cheese to soften..me and the girls quickly whisked away chocolate fudge brownies..half part was sprinkled with chocolate chips, while the other half with pecans on top.. To ensure every one was satisfied..the chocolate craze..the nut craze..hehehehe.. I am the nut craze!!

Two fat girls (as what they claimed themselves last night!!!..not me) finished of 1/6 of the brownies once out of oven plus the remainder of the cream cheese!!..

I packed away some for my neighbor too..sweet Kak Salina and kids..

 

Alrite all.. I cant wait for hubby to return home tonight with some Luxemburgerli aka Swiss Mac .. Have a sweet & pleasant weekend all!!

 

Barbie Doll and Tom & Jerry Birthday Cake

I was so excited receiving the order from Kak Azah (tokey macaron!) for a light pink barbie doll cake last month..This cake was for her darling dotter's birthday party at school.. And I am so glad that Aqila likes them and all excited to go to school that day!! TQSM Kak Azah!

The cake was moist chocolate cake coated with butter cream.. I have always got over-excited decorating birthday cake for girls!!

The above was picked up by Kak Azah in the morning from my house while below Tom and Jerry cake was delivered for Kak Sha on the evening..

Well, I have few other orders which I confirmed much earlier by end of the week..and I am sorry I could not take any new orders for now..I just need to lay low and slow :)

Bed of roses for a pretty bride!!

First and foremost..sorry for the long silence.. Me and kids were affected by the bad naughty virus! Only after the second dose of antibiotic the virus subsided and alhamdulillah we are back bouncing around :)

Below was 200 cuppies of red velvet and vanilla with butter cream for a pretty bride Lyn. She requested for roses pattern on the toppings and I loved them so much, as if a bed of roses laying in a box..i loikee!!

Lyn also ordered 100 pieces of chocolate fudge brownies for her solemnization ceremony..again TQ Lyn!!

 

I also made this chocolate moist cake for Azri and kak Azah..TQSM to you both..

My cakes will be on TV!!!!!!!!

I received and email last week from Media Prima representative Fariza asking if I am able to sponsor cakes for Annisa' Sitcom programme. I immediately said YES! They actually requested for 300 cuppies..and dont think I am able to bake that many cuppies..but had no problem to whisk some cakes for the purpose. There will be few other bakers sponsoring their pretty cakes and cuppies for the sitcom where our logo will be credited during the ending segment.


My first son doesn't believe that my cakes will be on TV..well I dont either..but we'll see. :)
